Rubber transfer molding press is a kind of equipment used for molding rubber products. The following is its related introduction:
How it works: Uncured rubber stock is placed into the barrel "tank" at the top of the mold, then a plunger mounted on the top plate moves downward, exerting pressure on the rubber, forcing it to fill the mold cavity below through the gate. During the vulcanization process, the plunger remains in place until the rubber stock is formed and vulcanized. After vulcanization is complete, the mold is opened, the product is ejected, and the mold cavity and tank are cleaned in preparation for the next molding cycle.
Clamping mechanism: usually hydraulically driven, which can provide sufficient clamping force to ensure that the mold is tightly closed during the molding process to prevent rubber from overflowing.
Structural features
Injection device: includes barrel, plunger and other components, used to extrude the rubber material from the barrel and inject it into the mold cavity.
Heating system: Generally, electric heating or hot oil heating is used to evenly heat the mold so that the rubber material can reach the required temperature during the vulcanization process.
Control system: PLC programming control is mostly adopted, which can accurately control the process parameters such as clamping force, injection pressure, temperature, time, etc. It is easy to operate and has a high degree of automation.
Advantage
High molding precision: It can produce rubber products with high dimensional accuracy and complex shapes, such as products with fine inserts, thin walls or products with large variations in wall thickness.
Good product quality: The rubber is vulcanized evenly in the mold cavity, the product performance is uniform, the surface quality is good, there is less waste edge, and the amount of post-processing is small.
High production efficiency: Compared with compression molding, transfer molding has a shorter molding cycle and higher production efficiency.
